Job Summary:  

Delivery Driver is responsible to deliver various products (produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, dairy, equipment and supplies)  to customers on an assigned route.  Assist warehouse in storing incoming produce, returning produce to coolers, fuels trucks and refrigeration unit, inspect equipment, load, unload and breakdown pallets of produce.  Fill out and complete paperwork in a timely manner.  


Essential Duties and Responsibilities (any combination of the following job duties):

Quality Control

  • Perform all pre delivery responsibilities including: pull orders and load trucks, counting items and checking customer invoices and products that have been loaded, pre-delivery temperature and safety checks..
  • Perform visual and hands on inspection of delivery vehicle.  Check vehicle oil and water levels, tires, blinkers, leaf springs, horn, headlights and flashers for proper operation
  • Load hand truck and/or pallet jack onto truck.
  • Has knowledge of product line, delivery times or other data as required. 
  • Drive to customer location as indicated on route sheets and deliver customer order
  • Unload products from truck and place items in designated customer storage areas.  Take note of any special instructions on the invoice.
  • Verify correct delivery of correct items with customer and obtain proper signatures.  Collect money (cash or checks) where indicated on invoice as COD
  • Contact office for authorization of any invoice discrepancies and to communicate all errors and returns
  • As requested by management, pick up product and bring back to warehouse for necessary accounting credit processing
  • Return truck to office when route is completed.
  • Perform all post-delivery responsibilities: unload returned items and damaged goods.  Complete paperwork and perform any necessary maintenance checks on vehicles and report maintenance needs to proper management
  • Attend all required company meetings and adhere to all safety practices and company policies.
  • You may be asked to delivery any “late” order deliveries by supervisor

Peripheral Duties:  All other duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor, Transportation/Delivery Lead


Desired Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be able to provide at least five (5) years driving record from the DMV
  • Valid medical card endorsements
  • Pass pre-employment drug test, criminal background check and reference check
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Professional and positive demeanor

Supervision Exercised: This position will not supervise other team members


Licensing and Certification: Must have valid drivers’ license, must maintain a valid medical card


Tools and Equipment Used: Ability to use and operate Box trucks, Vans, log book, vehicle inspection book, route paperwork

Job Summary:  

Pick daily customer orders according to load sheets with particular attention being given to safety, quality, accuracy and speed.  Properly stack orders for shipping.  Orders must be picked within an acceptable guideline for errors.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities (any combination of the following job duties):

Quality Control

  • Stage orders with special consideration given to maximizing product care, taking into account wet vs. dry goods and proper stacking to ensure safe transport and delivery to customer.
  • Stage all completed orders in loading area
  • Fill out voice mail sheets
  • Route properly according to route list
  • Move trucks into proper bays when needed
  • Load trucks as determined by delivery schedule
  • Pick short sheets as assigned
  • Complete necessary paperwork by recording amounts of items picked.
  • Maintain warehouse and equipment in clean and orderly condition.

Peripheral Duties:  All other duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Lead (freight, repacking, etc.)


Desired Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills and detail oriented.
  • Must have basic math comprehension skills
  • Must by safety minded
  • Must be able to work scheduled shifts and overtime as needed

  • Ability to work on your own with a detailed list of tasks to accomplish during shift
  • 6 months to 1 year of prior warehouse work experience
