The Source – July 3

California: Temps will reach full heat wave levels away from the coast Tuesday and last through the rest of the week. At the coast, temperatures will remain near to slightly above average due to the shallow marine layer. Lows in the morning will range from the mid-50s to the upper 60s, while daytime highs will range from the mid-60s to the upper 70s near the coast, from the upper 80s to 100 in the coastal valleys, and from 105-113 south of Soledad. With gusts up to 30 mph, there will be a blustery sea breeze.

Mexico: Showers and thunderstorms will occur intermittently through July 4th. Most showers will produce 0.05″ to 0.25″ of rainfall, but some thunderstorms may produce higher totals. It is more likely that shower activity will become isolated over the area on Friday and Saturday. Through July 6th, temperatures will be slightly warmer and closer to normal. “
