Delivery Driver

Aloha Produce is a locally owned quickly growing company in Bend Oregon looking for responsible professionals with experience to join our team of delivery personnel. Responsibilities include loading trucks for daily delivery, unload products and rotate into stock, follow all safety guidelines set forth by Aloha Produce and DOT, verify product against invoices, assist with inventory, collecting payment as needed from COD accounts, be available to work weekends and holidays that Aloha Produce is open.

Job Requirements:

  • Clean driving record and valid Oregon driver’s license.
  • Familiarity with surrounding areas and ability to read a map.
  • Must be hard working and self-motivated.
  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws.
  • Ability to read, write and record detailed data on invoices and pull sheets.
  • Ability to perform simple math, addition, subtraction and division.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently with a close attention to details.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, crouching and twisting.
  • Frequently lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally 100 pounds.
  • Using a hand truck to take loads up and down stairs in both indoor and outdoor conditions.

Warehouse Manager/Assistant Manager

Position Summary:
Aloha Produce of Central Oregon, Inc. is a dynamic, hard-working, goal oriented company. The role of a warehouse manager is someone who Provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services; supervising staff. The following is a list of job duties that is not limited to as the position evolves as the company does as well. Must have experience – Food Service Experience Preferred

Warehouse Manager Job Duties:

  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and
    personnel policies and procedures.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, food safety, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new
    legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and Quality Control Inspections.
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment (includes
    vehicle maintenance and repairs); issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Driver Dispatching and Problem Solving.
  • Can pull and deliver orders if needed in a pinch.
  • Has a full understanding of product knowledge.
  • Capable to Run a Podium/pull orders and Run a full Saturday.
  • Can invoice accurately and show software comprehension.

Warehouse/Freight Associate

Duties include:

  • Pulling orders for next day deliveries
  • General warehouse cleaning & organizing
  • Working in freezer, putting away incoming freight and repacking.

Other duties that may be assigned by Warehouse Manager.  30-35 hours per week.

Outside Sales - Central Oregon

POSITION SUMMARY:

This is an outside sales position responsible for promoting the company’s products and services and for building relationships with new and existing accounts.  The main focus is to help Aloha Produce customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals established by the company.

This position often requires working non-traditional hours (evening, weekends and holidays) in order to successfully meet customers’ needs.

An individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below.  The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth and special objectives within assigned territory.
  • Seek and qualify prospects in accordance with Company account stratification goals.
  • Research customer business needs and develop a mix of products and service to meet needs.
  • Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers, based on business needs and goals.
  • Be informed of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services provided.

Essential duties:

  • Answer customers’ questions about products, prices, availability and product uses.  Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
  • Meet with customers on a regular basis, attend conventions and company meetings, etc.
  • Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and client; collect all balances due based on approved credit terms.
  • Participate in company functions, promotions, customer visits, and customer events.
  • Assist with the training of new employees as requested.
  • Review and analyze daily and weekly reports such as special order requests, customer bid files, and sales data.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, maintaining sales records, processing credits and pick-up requests, preparing sales quotes and menu suggestions, and filing reports.
